When the University of Colorado Real Estate Foundation selected Maurer Painting to update the complete interior of a home that was donated to the University, we accepted the challenge!
The home was occupied by a man you loved to smoke his cigars and loved the University of Colorado! So upon his passing he donated the home to the University! The University wanted to update the home and put it on the market and use the proceeds to fund academic scholarship! However as you can see from the before picture the walls throughout the house had a smoke film all over them based on his love of cigars!
Maurer Painting went into the home cleaned off the smoke film by hand, applied a heavy primer and painted the walls with 2 coats of paint! End result is the second picture! The home recently sold and scholarships will be handed out in the 2014/2015 school year! NOW THATS AN UPDATE,,,,,
