While his professional journey has seen him leading complex initiatives for global leaders like Lockheed Martin and Johnson & Johnson, Bailey’s connection to the trade is personal. He first picked up a brush in college, painting on a ranch in his native California, an experience that instilled an appreciation for the hands-on work and tangible results of a job well done. This foundational experience, paired with his subsequent career managing high-stakes projects, led him back to the trade with a clear mission: to merge time-honored quality with a truly seamless client experience.
At the core of Bailey’s leadership is his expertise in managing complexity. As a project manager for a surgical robotics system at Johnson & Johnson, he honed his ability to juggle numerous moving parts and competing priorities—a skill he now applies to coordinating multiple high-end residential projects simultaneously. For clients, this means their project is managed with meticulous organization and proactive communication from start to finish. His time in the aerospace industry at Lockheed Martin further sharpened this discipline, embedding a commitment to precision and unwavering reliability into his work ethic.
A graduate of the Orfalea College of Business at California Polytechnic State University, Bailey holds a B.S. in Industrial Technology and is also Lead-Safe Certified, ensuring the highest standards of safety on projects in older homes. His vision for Maurer Painting is clear: to build upon the incredible 30-year legacy of quality and trust established by founder Tami Maurer. He is dedicated to preserving the company’s reputation for detail-oriented, top-notch quality while enhancing the customer journey with modern conveniences.
